SpeedyCourse’s “DARE you to Learn” Video Making Contest 2013 – Mechanics

Join the SpeedyCourse “DARE you to Learn?” Video Making Contest 2013, just create a motivational video that shows how learning can connect people to a world of opportunities and get a chance to win P50,000! Submissions are now open! Contest runs from September 17, 2013 to March 5, 2014.

WHO CAN JOIN:

1. Contest is open to ALL college students currently enrolled in public and private universities and colleges within Metro Manila, Philippines.
2. Participants must form a team with a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of ten (10) official members. All official members must be students enrolled in the same school not necessarily of same level for the current school term. Students qualified to graduate at the end of the current school term can join.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:

1. The participants must create a motivational video based on the theme “DARE you to Learn?” and show how learning can connect people to a world of opportunities. The video may explore ideas to encourage learning such as (but not limited to):
   • Learning for all ages (from young people to adults)
   • How learning can help improve a person’s life
   • How learning can open up opportunities for personal or professional development
   • How and where learning can take place
2. The video must also creatively show / demonstrate how the SpeedyCourse website connects people to a myriad of learning and training information.
3. The video can be in any genre or style (documentary, short film, music video, etc.) and must not be more than ten (10) minutes or shorter than one (1) minute in length.
4. The video must be in AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MP4, MPG or MOV format.
5. Any music or media used must have the permission of the artist or is available via a Creative Commons license.

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES:

• Only one (1) video entry is allowed per team.
• Video entries can be submitted online at http://contest.speedycourse.com.ph/uploadvideo.
• Deadline for submission of video entries is on January 31, 2014.

CRITERIA OF JUDGING (Elimination and Final Rounds):

• 10% Online Viewer Votes
• 30% Creativity, Originality and Video/Audio Quality
• 30% Depiction of the theme
• 30% Depiction of the function of SpeedyCourse

VOTING
Voting for the Elimination Round on the contest gallery starts on February 1, 2014 and ends on February 13, 2014. Only one vote per IP address is allowed per day.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
March 5, 2014. – visit SpeedyCourse’s Facebook Page and contest.speedycourse.com.ph for the list of winners
